Photography Style
1. How do you identify as a photographer? Write as many descriptive elements as you can.
I would most closely identify with conceptual/ storytelling photography and candid photography.
2. What subjects interest you?
I am interested in the passage of time in nature, especially man made technology being overtaken by foliage and being forgotten. This does relate to climate change and the impact humans have on the world around us.
I also enjoy the documentary style around random events and people in my life, even the mundane.
Concert photography
3. What kind of photographs do you want to capture?
I like composites that are surreal, and contort the human anatomy
I want to get comfortable shooting in color
Photographing my friends interacting
I enjoy night scenes a lot too.
I also have loved ghost towns and want to travel to some in NH
4. What kind of photographs do you want to MAKE?
Lately my whole life has been medical issues, I hate talking to people about it because of it's connotations with pity, and wish I could forget about it. Unfortunately, this illness has taken over my life for the past 6 years, and themes of human anatomy frequently pop up, resilience, and strength.
I want to show beauty in situations that are usually ugly, old buildings, contorted faces,
5. Describe in words a photograph you are searching for taking or making?
Strong yet elegant photos, i like to make images that document a time or feeling that words cannot explain.
6. Post your best photograph that you have made or taken this year in 2023.
